The first-class relics of Saint Bernadette Soubirous will begin a tour of the United States – Journey of Grace – at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, Washington, D.C., on September 18, 2026. Her Relics will visit the National Shrine Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, Emmitsburg, MD, on September 23rd-24th, 2026.
As of this date, Saint Bernadette’s relics will be visiting two Parishes in the Harrisburg Diocese:
Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at Saint John Neuman, 601 East Delp Road, Lancaster, PA, 1760; and
Thursday and Friday, October 1-2, 2026, at Saint Vincent de Paul, 220 3rd Street, Hanover, PA, 17331.

Thursday, October 1st
TBA – arrival of the Relics
Noon – Welcoming Prayer Service
12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. – public veneration of the Relics [Pilgrims with limited mobility are to enter the Church up the courtyard ramp through the Saint Paul door. All other pilgrims are to enter the Church through the wooden doors on Third Street.]
6:00 p.m. – Mass in Honor of Saint Bernadette Soubirous
7:00 p.m. – Water Gesture
8:00 p.m. – Candlelight Rosary (inside the Church)
9:00 p.m. – begin all-night public veneration of the Relics [The Church will be open throughout the night with access up the courtyard ramp through the Saint Paul door.]
Friday, October 2nd
7:30 a.m. – temporarily conclude public veneration of the Relics
8:00 a.m. – Mass in Honor of the Guardian Angels
9:00 a.m. – Water Gesture
10:00 a.m. – resume public veneration of the Relics
Noon – Departure Prayer Service
TBA – departure of the Relics
