St. Patrick Church Summer Choir Workshop

Join us for an uplifting and enriching adult choir workshop, designed to inspire, train, and unite singers of all experience levels in a spirit of worship and musical excellence. This dynamic workshop offers a blend of choral technique, spiritual reflection, and fellowship, helping choir members grow both musically and spiritually.

We will practice choral techniques such as proper breathing, tone production, choral blending, and diction as we learn and rehearse sacred music for performance at a special Saturday evening vigil Mass at historic St. Patrick Shrine Church. Whether you're a seasoned choir veteran or just starting out, this workshop is a valuable opportunity to deepen your musical gifts and renew your calling to serve through song.

Suggested Donation: $10 per singer, payable the day of the event.

Guest Conductor: Peter Carter is co-author with Cardinal Sarah of The Song of the Lamb: Sacred Music and the Heavenly Liturgy. He is the founder and director of the Catholic Sacred Music Project and serves as the Director of Sacred Music for both the Aquinas Institute of Princeton University and St. John the Baptist Church in Allentown, New Jersey. He is active as an organist, singer, and clinician in the United States, France, and Chile. From 2019-2020, he served as co-host of Square Notes: The Sacred Music Podcast. He holds degrees from Westminster Choir College.
