PROGRAMS

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION CLASSES (CCD)
Classes are available for children in grades KINDERGARTEN THRU 12
K THRU 8 meet Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm-7:45 pm at the Marsh Drive school
9 THRU 12 meet Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm-7:45 pm at the Catacombs on Pomfret Street (the basement of the rectory).
Registration is required.

FIRST PENANCE AND FIRST EUCHARIST are usually prepared for during the 2 year process of first and second grade. The sacraments are available to children registered in either St. Patrick school or St. Patrick religious education program.

CONFIRMATION is prepared for by 8 years of religious education in either St. Patrick school or St. Patrick religious education. Immediate preparation is a 2-year process of 7th and 8th grades.

CHILDREN'S LITURGY OF THE WORD is available to children in grades kindergarten thru 6th on most sundays during the year. Any child in church may attend CLW. It is available during the 9:30 Mass.

BAPTISM CLASSES are mandated to all parents having their first child baptized every other month on the first 3 Mondays of the month. Classes are held in February, April, June, August, October, and December. Please register for this class.

Parent meetings which consist of catechesis and information on each sacrament are available to parents with children in confirmation programs. these meetings are mandatory.

RCIA ADAPTED FOR CHILDREN is available for children over the age of 7 who has not been baptized or received into the catholic church. Any child of an adult who is attending RCIA who wants to also become a member of the church must attend the RCIA adapted for children. Please contact the dre for information.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL is held the third week of June each year. It is for children ages 4 thru 10. It is held from 9:30 to noon. Registration is required.
